How old do I need to be to apply for a job?
Individuals who are 18 years or older and who are legally able to work in the United States can begin the hiring process by registering with LG Resources.

After your online application has been submitted, please contact the LG Resources office closest to you to schedule an interview.

Bring two forms of ID with you to complete the LG registration/application prior to your interview. A list of Acceptable Identification can be found here.

A background check and drug screening will be completed prior to job placement. Please note that $20 is deducted from the first paycheck to cover initial employment registrations costs.

What forms of ID do I need to bring?

Employees may present one selection from List A or a combination of one selection from List B and one selection from List C.

Does LG Resources use E-Verify?

Yes. E-Verify is an Internet-based system that compares information from an employee’s Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, to data from U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Social Security Administration records to confirm employment eligibility.

How often do I get paid?

Paychecks are issued weekly on Fridays.  The office manager can give you information about when you can expect your first paycheck based on the job assignment you accept. Please note that $20 will be withheld from your first paycheck to cover the new employee registration set-up fee. Speak with the office manager if you have questions.

How soon can I get placed on a job?
Once you’ve registered with LG Resources and have met the requirements for employment, job placement can occur within 1-2 days and often within the same day depending on client need.
What if I'm not able to go to work?

If you are not able to go to work (for ANY reason), please call your office manager and let them know as soon as possible.

Let your office manager know the situation and when you’ll be able to return to work. Failure to show up to an assigned job with communicating with your office manager can result in being released from the job.

Where are jobs located?

LG Resources serves clients along the Wasatch Front in Weber, Davis, Salt Lake and Utah counties. You will typically be assigned to a job that is close to the LG Resources office that you applied with.

How long do jobs last?

Most jobs available are temp-to-hire which means that opportunity for full time placement depends upon your work ethic, performance, reliability and the needs of the client company.

What is the employee onboarding process like at?

Individuals who are 18 years or older and who are legally able to work in the United States can begin the hiring process by registering with LG Resources.

Prior to being placed at any work site, new employees must complete the employee onboarding process with includes, but is not limited to, passing the drug test screening process, a background check, in-person interview and possible competency testing as required by select clients.

A $20 onboarding fee will be withheld from the first employee paycheck to cover the required screening.
